A beautiful + functional art object: a hand carved stone brush by Rockland artist Sam Finkelstein.
Sam made these custom for Working Loose with the prompt “a stone brush that fits largely in the palm of your hand but, but nimble enough to be utilized as a cast iron scrubber.”
What resulted is an array of 8 one-of-a-kind stone brushes that will surely make scrubbing anything a unique pleasure.
Sam carved out each hole by hand and gathered and secured the bristles bunch by bunch.
