Lauren Brinkers is a shoemaker and artist living and working in the Northwest corner of Connecticut. She earned a degree in footwear at Cordwainers shoemaking school in London in 2008, learned first hand on the job with factory workers in Hackney, bespoke shoemakers on Saville Row, and continued her training with cobblers and fellow shoemakers in New York City. Her shoes are hand-painted, handmade, and one-of-a kind.
