They can be used just like colour pencils, but when used with a wet paintbrush they can create beautiful watercolour effects. Dry colour can transform into watercolour washes with the application of water and fine detail can be achieved when used dry. Highly-pigmented and lightfast, these pencils are manufactured with a high break resistant lead.
