Shinrin-yoku, or “forest bathing,” is a Japanese practice that involves spending time in forests for therapeutic purposes. It encourages individuals to immerse themselves in the natural environment, engaging all five senses to promote relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being.
A twenty minute soak helps to reduce pain, encourages relaxation and sleep and nourishes the skin and spirit.
Warm water helps with mineral absorption. Hot water encourages detoxification.
