John is a retired Pastry chef who has always enjoyed creating and working with his hands, whether it was with sugar, chocolate or marzipan. For the past ten years he has enjoyed carving different types of whimsical creations including jumping jacks, small caricatures and holiday ornaments from wood. He lives in Stonington with his wife and one very rambunctious Portuguese Water Dog.
