Lane Walkup is an artist based between Brooklyn, NY and Asheville, NC. Her sculptural work over the past year has been inspired by the labor of self-expression through historical art and craft. Her pieces are mostly created by forging and welding metal into skeletal shapes, often layering delicate materials over the steel figures.
