Cassie is a textile artist, educator and mom based in Bolinas, California, also the past boss of both Em and Rachel at Gravel & Gold that she was a co-founder of. Perhaps most recognized for her widely loved (and wildly mimicked) “Boob Print” Cass has been designing textiles that bring joy to all. Since attending RISD(where she also taught adjunct for several years) she has been quilting fabrics, attending residencies and creating textile work that delights the senses.
This work, a front door sign to take yer shoes off, COULD HAVE just be a 2-D piece, but why not quilt it, bat it and mark it with a soft sculpture stamp, says Cassie.
