Peter Shire
Echo Park, CA
Peter Shire was a founding member of the Memphis Group alongside Ettore Sottsass. Peter's art includes sculpture and furniture and has been featured in galleries and exhibitions around the world. His work is as colorful and whimsical as he is! Peter founded the pottery studio in 1972 to create ceramics that were more reasonably priced than his gallery work, and named it after the L.A. neighborhood where he was raised.
