Park Pardon

Antwerp, Belgium

Park Pardon is the collaborative studio of artists and friends Bloeme van Bon and Geran Knol. In 2019 the duo launched a series of one-of-a-kind, hand painted, decorative papier-mâché masks entitled Schijngelaten, an invented synonym for "mask" using the Dutch words "gelaat" (face) and "schijn" (appearance). As a body of work, Schijngelaten strives to connect art and design while also exploring the artists’ shared fascination for faces, characters and culture.
