1-Year Anniversary Party

THERE WILL BE CAKE 1-Year Anniversary Celebration!

On June 14th of last year I opened up the doors at 49 Main Street for the 1st time with an exhibition in celebration of ROCKS (my 1st true love). The turnout was flabbergasting, (~ 400ppl!) and I am still scratching my head as to how so many people found the time to show up and support my new endeavor on a Friday in June. Friends from near and far showed UP. And friends from near and far are STILL showing up, which is heartwarming, humbling and affirming that Working Loose is still meant for this world.

Over the past 12 months WL has hosted 5 different exhibitions in the gallery, held 4 live music shows, 4 mending and making workshops, 3 pop-ups,  a literary fair, 10 community events from karaoke to cocktail hours and has been open 255 of the past 365 days. I am the sole full-time employee but I have had excellent part-time help from two local women Lindsay + Sophie (Tressa helped out a few days too;) To say I feel proud of this last year is an understatement, so would saying that I feel a little tired too... ;)

BUT, anyone who knows me knows that I thrive on creative projects and deadlines and love a good reason to be making and creating events and gatherings and connecting people to people. So with that sentiment in mind, I am cooking up an all-day, fun-filled 1-Year Anniversary celebration that will surely involve music, cake, libations, giveaways, special discounts, and other neat surprises.

Come for an hour or stay all day, there is much to celebrate and I could not have done this without your support! So THANK YOU!

And if you are a cake baker, bring one to share!
